About Us

McVay's Limited is a family owned business located in Rural Mid-Michigan. We have been hand-crafting game boards since 1982. A love of antiques and a desire for a life style change led us to leave our jobs and establish McVay's Old Wood Creations, now known as McVay's Limited.

We have displayed our wood items in folk art shows across the nation and have met some wonderful people and seen many interesting places.

Today, we no longer travel, but work from our studio here in Michigan. Our game boards and home decor products have been featured in Midwest Living, Better Homes and Gardens, Country Living, Country Home and most recently on the popular TV show While You Were Out. Our goal is to offer quality products at affordable prices. Items that blend with and accent your Antiques and collectibles. Helping you to create a home that you love.

Recently, David McVay has retired, he will no longer be involved in the day to day operations. I am sure in the near future I will be able to purchase some of his designs from him directly. I also plan on giving him a special page to offer " one of a kind " items and some very nice pieces that have been stored away for 25 years. Right now he is concentrating on finishing the complete restoration of his 1963 VW.
